Autumn Mornings and Ireland in Black and White

There’s a hint of Autumn in the air.

I can feel it in the morning crispness when I crawl out of my warm bed and have to pull a robe or sweater over my shoulders.

I see it in the kitchen windows that stay closed until well after the sun has risen.

And I taste it in endless cups of chai tea and creamy coffee that are what I’m craving most as I labor over the heaps of writing projects I’m tackling this week.

I’m loving every minute of it.

It makes me long for lazy afternoons of unhindered reading and quiet rambles through the Irish countryside.

Let’s wander a bit.

Irish schoolhouse

Irish beach

Marie - My sis traveled to Ireland a year and a half ago to find relatives from the Old Country. She did even better than that-she got to visit the original cabin on the original property from a couple hundred years ago. There were still dishes and furniture in the house. She’s going back in a couple months. She loved Ireland.

budgetjan - My mind has been rambling in Vietnam, thanks to the Lunar New Year, and I did notice that it was not horribly hot this morning and wondered if Autumn is on it’s way. The B & W captures Ireland well.
